Bracketing is when you take multiple images at different exposures. On my camera, I adjusted the aperture and shutter speed setting until I got a good reading at 0. To get an exposure that is exactly one stop brighter (1+), I opened up by 3 stops on the shutter speed. In order to get an exposure that is exactly a step darker (1-), I adjusted the shutter speed and decreased by three stops.
